Michael Arendall served as Old Dominion University’s 48th president of the student body from May 2000 until May 2001. As president,he acquired $300,000 in student activity funding for student activities and student organizations.

Recently, Michael finished a stint as a paralegal at the Virginia Beach law firm of Thomas & Associates, P.C. as director of the firm’s debt collection division. In 2003, he became the recipient of the firm’s first-ever “Above and Beyond Award” for superior innovation and exceptional contributions to the firm.

He currently pursues a JD at Stetson University College of Law and a career in public service.
